A Letter from Principal

FROM THE PRINCIPAL'S DESK

Greetings,

In 1992, during one of its Bible study sessions, 'The Radicals,' a Gospel band, recognized the need for a teaching ministry in churches across Nagaland and neighbouring states. Consequently, they initiated a teaching and training ministry named 'The Galilean Outreach.' Initially, they organized Vacation Bible Schools in various parts of Nagaland and translated teaching materials for Sunday Schools.

In 2002, the Lord impressed upon my heart the importance of training youth workers for the churches in Nagaland. In obedience to God's call, I stepped down from full-time Pastoral ministry to fulfil the Lord's purpose—to train Music Ministers and Youth Workers for the Church.

On June 4, 2002, our journey began with one music student and one theology student in a rented house in Lotha Colony, Dimapur. Looking back, we express gratitude to God for His faithfulness in sending students for training and meeting our needs. In just under twenty years, we have graduated 235 students, now serving in various parts of India and Myanmar. We give thanks for the privilege of partnering with churches and mission organizations to spread the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.

My prayer is that Golden Crown Theological College will continue to equip many more workers for the ministry of the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. The Lord continually reminds us of the need for workers, echoing His words, "The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore, pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest" (Matthew 9:37-38).

I encourage you to heed the call to "Preach the Word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all long-suffering and teaching" (2 Timothy 4:2).
